That’s why Verisk Marketing Solutions is excited to introduce the Engagement Indicator, a new enhancement to Activate that helps marketers focus on the signals that matter the most.
Smarter Signal Prioritization, Built Into Activate
Activate has always delivered early behavioral signals to help marketers know when a customer is beginning to shop. But until now, all signals were treated equally, regardless of whether someone was a casual browser or actively comparing options. Our latest enhancement in Activate changes that.
The Engagement Indicator scores each signal on a scale from 1 to 4, providing a simple way to identify which consumers are showing deeper engagement. A score of 1 indicates the shopper is deep in their purchase journey, while a 4 suggests they’re early in their exploration.
This enhancement in Activate incorporates additional behavioral and historical data to model the consumer’s level of interest. Behavioral data, such as form views, clicks, and other datapoints (many of which are part of our Intelligence product), provides insight into the types of interactions the consumer is exhibiting. Coupled with a longer view of their shopping activity, the model can better indicate which consumers are deeper in their process.
This new insight empowers marketers to focus their strategies on the most engaged consumers, while implementing more cost-effective outreach to nurture early-stage shoppers.
Activate’s signal data, and the data powering the Engagement Indicator, comes only from our proprietary network of consumer shopping sites. It does not leverage any outside consumer demographic data or data supplied by our customers. All of Verisk Marketing Solutions’ data is responsibly sourced and compliant with state and federal rules for permissible collection and use of consumer data, and right to opt-out.
